What does Easter look like for those who have no hope? For those who have been forgotten? For those living in our communities’ care centers? Often they have lost all hope with nothing to look forward to except a special meal and maybe a once or twice a year visitor. They probably feel like the disciples did after the death of Christ- lost, forgotten, hopeless. But, we as Christians can bring the hope and love to the elderly that only comes from the resurrection of Jesus Christ through your involvement with Operation Easter Hope.
This Easter, Crossroads Ministries is bringing hope and love to as many residents as possible through Operation Easter Hope. We will be leading a special Easter service at several care centers; including a personal visit with each of the residents, prayer and an Easter basket. Each basket will contain a: – Chocolate cross – Evangelistic leaflet explaining salvation and the hope of Easter – Letter from Crossroads Ministries – Small, stuffed Easter themed animal – Card for the resident to share prayer requests and comments Help bring hope to a lonely resident this Easter season! For only $5.00 you can bring love and hope this Easter to a resident living in a nursing home. Please make a donation on our website by clicking on the “Donate” tab. You can mail a check or your credit card information to: Crossroads Ministries P.O. Box 62697 Colorado Springs, CO 80962 Thank you for partnering with Crossroads Ministries. Together, we can make a difference!
