Do you enjoy crocheting or knitting? Do you have a heart for the elderly and would like to give back to the community? Crossroads Ministries has an annual Operation Golden Christmas project in which we collect knitted and crocheted items.

Crossroads Ministries is conducting a Volunteer Training Class Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Crossroads’ office from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be available. We are located at:
5585 Erindale Drive Suite 207 Colorado Springs 80918 We are near the corner of Academy and Vickers (near Chili’s and the Loaf ‘n’ Jug). We are the second driveway on the left on Erindale Drive. Go to the north end of the parking lot. You will see a white maintenance shed. We are located on the second level. Look for the white cross in a flower pot. Please call 719-635-5767 if you get lost.  As we continue to look at our Heart Health month, getting all of the community involved in partnership with Crossroads is a vital part of what we do. Years ago, I was introduced to this wonderful bank and their amazing people. When my late husband was in the hospital, I called the bank to see if someone could come and notarize some papers for us, the bank manager no tonly came but she ended up singing him to sleep. What a blessing!! They continue to amaze us as they partner with us in so many ways.

Crossroads is ahead of the game and is getting ready for 2017’s Operation Golden Christmas. We’re having a Yarn Drive from March 12th through March 19th. All yarn collected is given to knitting groups and individuals who make afghans and lap blankets for Operation Golden Christmas.
