 It’s officially the holiday season and Crossroads Ministries is launching 2015 Operation Golden Christmas!
In Colorado Springs, there are over 3,000 residents in care centers that need your friendship. Over 85% of those residents rarely have visitors. Especially during the Christmas season. Won’t you consider being a part of Operation Golden Christmas? We are currently accepting donations. Residents in care centers LOVE small stuffed animals, non-skid slippers and socks, lip balm, large print crossword puzzles, calendars, lap blankets, scarves, gloves, puzzles, playing cards. Please no perfumes, candles, perishable items, or candles. Crossroads would also gladly accept donations of large boxes to transport gifts to the centers. Crossroads Ministries will be conducting Volunteer Training Classes to train you how to minister to the elderly in care centers. If you enjoy visiting with the elderly or feel called to this ministry, plan to join us for an informational meeting Saturday, November 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
You can make a difference in the life of the elderly!
